2007-08 “Leadership, the Lakes Area” Class Graduates

On April 16, the 2007–2008 “Leadership, the Lakes Area” class held their graduation session to mark the completion of the leadership program.

This year’s group consisted of 23 members from a variety of businesses and organizations. Participants took part in numerous panel discussions and attended leadership sessions, including Business Day at the Capital. The group also toured the new Crow Wing County Jail, St Joseph Medical Center, and the Mille Lacs Indian Reservation.

The leadership program strives to provide a wellrounded perspective of the Lakes area, along with leadership sessions that cover values, vision, conflict management, and communication skills.

If you are interested in applying for the 2008 – 2009 leadership program, contact Mary at (218) 822-7117 or watch your mail for more information on how to apply. The new session starts in September.

The Brainerd Lakes Chamber represents more than 1,200 businesses and operates offices in Brainerd, Crosslake, Pequot Lakes, and the Welcome Center on Hwy 371 South. The Chamber is the organization that connects businesses and leads the drive for responsible and profitable growth in the Brainerd Lakes region.
