Olympic Medalist Shares Expertise at Breezy Point Arena

Eight-time Canadian men's figure skating champion (1981 to 1988), 1987 world champion and two-time Olympic silver medalist (1984 and 1988) Brian Orser offered his expertise at the Breezy Point Ice Arena during a premier skating camp.

The “Point of Perfection” camp ran from June 16-20 and was designed for girls with ISI Freestyle 1-10 or USFS comparable abilities. Fifty-one young skaters from around the country received 12-15 hours of on-ice instruction and 10-12 hours off the ice. The talents of World and Olympic Coach Kathy Casey and Olympic medalist Brian Orser helped guide the skaters in a new direction for peak freestyle performance.
