Breezy Point Area Women’s Club scholarship recipients

The Breezy Point Area Women’s Club honored the 2014 CLC scholarship recipients at their monthly luncheon meeting on August 6, at Maucieri’s in Crosslake. The BPAWC supports two $600 scholarships a year to female, nontraditional students 25 years or older who meet the CLC guidelines for the number of college credits and have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
Roshael Jacobsen is working toward an Associate in Arts degree and will graduate in the fall of 2014. She plans to attend St. Cloud University majoring in criminal justice and minoring in chemical dependency. She would like to work in the area of restorative justice.
Annamarie Hausken is working towards an A.A.S. degree in accounting. She eventually would like to pursue her dream job as an office manager or bookkeeper for a local small business.
After the luncheon, members toured The Northern Trackers railroad exhibit in Crosslake.
