Crosby man arrested on 1st degree manufacturing of narcotics

On 12-21-17, at approximately 4:50 pm, Agents from LADID and members of the Crow Wing County TAC Team executed a search warrant at a residence in Crosby located in the Townsend Trailer Park. The warrant was in connection to an ongoing drug investigation involving the manufacturing and sale of methamphetamine.
Upon executing the warrant, agents discovered evidence of a meth lab inside the residence. A male, Richard Glenn Hatcher, 25 yrs. old of Crosby, and a juvenile male from Ironton were also located inside the residence. Hatcher was placed under arrest and the juvenile was released to his parents. Inside the house were numerous items of evidence indicating that the suspects had been manufacturing methamphetamine on numerous occasions. Agents also seized a felony amount of methamphetamine and a firearm.
Sheriff Todd Dahl says, “The individuals involved in these labs not only put themselves at risk, but also members of the general public. We haven’t seen a meth lab in Crow Wing County for quite some time. I am thankful that our LADID drug agents were able to successfully locate and dismantle this lab.”
LADID was assisted by members of the Morrison County Sheriff’s Dept. and the Crosby Police Dept.
Hatcher is currently being held in the Crow Wing County Jail on numerous charges including 1st degree manufacturing of narcotics.
