100 Mature Marijuana Plants Seized, Crosby Man Arrested

Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl reports the arrest of an individual in connection with a large scale marijuana growing operation in the Crosby-Ironton area.
On September 3, 2013, the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a dispute between neighbors. Upon deputies’ arrival on the scene, several marijuana plants were observed growing near the garden on one of the neighbor’s property. Drug agents from the Lakes Area Drug Investigative Division were contacted.
A search of the property resulted in the recovery of 100 mature marijuana plants growing throughout the suspect’s property and neighboring property.
Jerry Dean Erickson, 50 years old of Crosby, MN was arrested.
Sheriff Todd Dahl reports that the plants that were seized would have had had a potential street value of $10,000-$20,000.
