Tree of Love fund raiser honored 192 loved ones

Web posted December 4, 2018
A total of $2,825 was raised for area Hospice patients through Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Home Health & Hospice annual Tree of Love fund-raising event on Monday. The donations honored 192 loved ones.

Lights will continue to shine on the Tree of Love outside CRMC’s main entrance throughout the holidays. Last year, $3,370 was donated in memory or honor of 255 people and in 2016 $3,005 was donated in memory or honor of 133 names.

Donations to the Tree of Love benefit Hospice, a service of compassionate care for people who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. Hospice involves a team approach to expert medical care, pain management, emotional and spiritual support. A vital part of hospice care is providing support to the family and loved ones of patients.

For more information, visit www.cuyunamed.org or call CRMC’s Home Health & Hospice Department at 218-546-2311.
