Crosby Woman Injured in Single Car Accident

Carol Quinn, age 71, of Crosby drove her 1994 LeSabre into a swampy area just south of narrows bridge in downtown Outing on Monday, November 30. The call to 911 was placed just after 11 am on Monday, though no one was sure when the incident happened as the car was partially hidden from view.

Quinn was headed northbound on Highway 6 when her vehicle traveled over the curb and landed into the bullrush between the roadway and Narrows Restaurant at the south end of the bridge.

She was transported to CRMC in an ambulance then airlifted to a metro area hospital where she was listed in critical condition. The Minnesota State Highway Patrol, Cass County Sheriff’s Department, Outing Quick Response and Crooked Lake Fire Department responded to the call.
