Rangers Improve to 17-1

Mark Hoge had 29 points and Sam Baker had 27 as the 16-1 Crosby-Ironton Rangers rallied to edge the Cass Lake-Bena Panthers 87-85 on Monday, Feb 1.

Hoge also had seven assists for C-I who are ranked the number 4 team in Class AA.

Brock Tesdahl finished with 13 points, and Matthew Hudrlik chipped in 11.

The Panthers’ Martin Wind led all scorers with 34 points including five three pointers.

On Friday, the Rangers handed visiting Detroit Lakes a 64-48 loss to stay undefeated in Mid-State Conference action.

Mark Hoge finished with 18 points and Brock Tesdahl had 10 for C-I in the win.
