Bay Lake Lions present Scholarships worth $10,000: Scholarship money raised at annual BLAL Scholarship Golf Scramble

The Bay Lake Area Lions present $10,000 to Crosby-Ironton and Aitkin High School scholars on Monday, May 1st. Bay Lake Area Lion Charities Club Vice President/Treasurer Cathe Picek presented scholarships to Aitkin High School graduating seniors Jacob Hagestuen, Samuel Peterson, Taylor Ehnstrom, Joshua Carlberg and Cora Fastner. Past Lion District Governor Adolph Kukowski presented scholarships to Crosby-Ironton High School graduating seniors Nikita Finnerty, Cody Chapman, Shayla Loiland, Miranda Berg and Sage Stangel. Each recipient was awarded a $1,000 to be spent at the institution of higher education of their choice.
Scholarship money is raised at the annual BLAL Scholarship Golf Scramble. This year's golf outing will be held at Rutger's Bay Lake Lodge on Monday, July 17th. Call 218-678-9090 to register your team or individual players. Registration is limited to the first 100 paid golfers.
