CLC Nursing Students Participate in Hospital Simulation

Central Lakes College nursing students teamed up to participate in a hospital simulation exercise in advance of real clinical or on-the-job care-giving.

During a two-day period, the simulation tested both registered and practical nursing students in a series of multiple-bed scenarios. The teams collaborated in response to the needs of role-playing “patients” from the nursing and education professions.

All team activities were evaluated and critiqued to maximize the learning experience.

Participants from the area:

Breezy Point
Kim Johnson, PN;
Carla Swenson, PN.
Outing
Michelle Kemper, PN.
Longville
Dawn Waldera, PN.
Pequot Lakes
Stephanie Rasmussen, PN.
