|  | Derksen Competes for CorcordiaWeb posted February 21, 2012 Casey Derksen, a sophomore majoring in Biology (pre-Med,) was recently recruited by the Concordia College Men's Track and Field Team as a thrower. Derksen, a 2010 graduate of Pequot Lakes High School, competes in the indoor season as a red shirt freshman by throwing the 35 pound weight and the 16 pound shot put. He will also compete in Concordia's outdoor season, throwing the shot put, discus, and the hammer. Derksen was a multi-year letter winner in track and field at Pequot Lakes as well as a Section 6 Finals participant.
