Front Row (l-r) Manager Jim Eisler and President of Edina Home Services Bob Peltier - photo submitted | Crosslake Edina Realtors Give Hands-Up to Women’s ShelterThe Edina Realty Foundation in Crosslake recently donated towels, sheets and pillowcase sets, pillows and $200 in cash to the Mid-Minnesota Battered Women’s Shelter in Brainerd. According to shelter Executive Director Louise Seliski, women often arrive at the shelter with only the clothes on their back and usually a child in their arms. Recently, the shelter has also seen an increase in women in need of their service. The bedding items are given to the residents (along with other necessities) when they arrive and the residents keep the bedding once they leave the shelter and start over in a new home. The Edina Crosslake Realtors were also pleased to welcome Bob Peltier President of Edina Home Services, Edina, MN as part of the Foundation presentation. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
