Crosslake Ice Car race results

Drew Seeker of Crosslake in car #13 broke the three week winning streak by Merrifield drivers in the Studded Class final of the last Crosslake Ice Car races of the season on March 7th.

Following Seeker was Shawn Pratt of Merrifield in the Superman car in second place and finishing third was Matt Borden in car 80, also of Merrifield.

Three drivers from Merrifield took top three places in the 15 and under feature, Dylan Nelson in car 25 finished first followed by second plsce finisher Jacob Borden in the 8-ball car and in third was Logan Pratt in the Superman Car.

In the Rubber Class feature Jacob Borden in the 8-ball car, Chad Erlandson of Brainerd in car #45 took second place and in third was Jacob Boren in the 8- ball car.

The 2016 race season will begin, weather permitting in January.

Race day again belonged to drivers from Merrifield in each feature of the Crosslake Ice Car races on Saturday, February 21st.

In the Studded Class first place went to Matt Borden in car 80. Borden was followed by Taylor Pratt in car T4, and finishing third was Shawn Pratt in the Superman car.

In the 15 and under feature, Connor Pratt in the Superman car took first place. Second went to Dylan Nelson in car 25, and third place went to Jacob Borden in the 8-ball car.

In the Rubber Class feature Connor Pratt in the Superman car finished first, followed by Nelson and car #25 in second and in third place was Jacob Borden in the 8-ball car.

Races are held every Saturday on Big Pine Lake at noon, weather and conditions permitting. The public is encouraged to attend the free races. Access to the track is located at the Big Pine Lake public access, located off Big Pine Trail off County Road 3 south of Crosslake.

The day belonged to drivers from Merrifield in each feature of the Crosslake Ice Car races on Saturday February 14th.

In the Studded Class first place went to Matt Borden in car 80. He was followed by Shawn Pratt in the Superman car, and finishing third was Taylor Pratt in car T4.

In the 15 and under feature, Connor Pratt in car T4 took first place. Second went to Dylan Nelson in car 25, and third place went to Logan Pratt in car T4.

In the rubber feature Dylan Nelson took the top spot, he was followed by Connor Pratt in the Superman car, and in third place was Jacob Borden in car 8.

Results from the Winterfest weekend of the Crosslake Ice Car racing season on Big Pine Lake on Saturday, February 7th.

Ice car racers from across the lakes area were invited to Crosslake for Winterfest weekend and the greater amount of entrants made for a crowded track at times.

In the studded class feature race, Drew Seeker and car #13 took first place. In second place was Matt Borden of Merrifield in the #80 car, and finishing third was Shawn Pratt, also of Merrifield, in the Superman car.

In the 15 and under feature race, Jacob Borden of Merrifield in the 8- Ball car took first place. Second went to Logan Pratt of Merrifield in car T4. Third place went to Connor Pratt in the Superman car.

In the Rubber class feature Kyle Hall of Pillager in car #14 took first place. Hall was followed by Logan Pratt in car T4 and in third was Chad Bailes of Breezy Point in car #33.

Races will continue to be held every Saturday on Big Pine Lake starting at noon, weather and conditions permitting. The public is invited to attend the free races. Access to the track is located at the Big Pine Lake public access, located off Big Pine Trail off County Road 3 just south of Crosslake.

Results from the second weekend of the Crosslake Ice Car racing season on Big Pine Lake on Saturday, January 31.

In the studded class feature race, Isaac Wannebo in the 7X car took first place. In second place was Taylor Pratt of Merrifield in the #T4 car, and finishing third was Shawn Pratt, also of Merrifield in the Superman car.

In the 15 and under feature race, Logan Pratt of Merrifield in car T4 took first place. Second went to Connor Pratt of Merrifield iin the Superman car. Third place went to Dylan Nelson in car #25.

In the rubber feature Logan Pratt of Merrifield in car #T4 took first, followed by Dylan Nelson of Merrifield in car #25, and in third place was car T4 and driver Connor Pratt of Merrifield in the Superman car.

Crosslake Ice Car racing season begins

The Crosslake Ice Car racing season got underway on Big Pine Lake on Saturday, January 24. Despite a lack of snow, which made for slick track conditions, the drivers and spectators alike enjoyed the warm temperatures.

In the studded class feature race, the Superman car driven by Shawn Pratt took an early lead and held it for the entire race. In second place was Isaac Wannebo from Crosslake in car 7X and finishing third was Mark Peterson from Brainerd in car #19.

In the 15 and under feature race, Jacob Borden of Merrifield in the 8-ball car took first place. Second went to Dylan Nelson of Merrifield in car $25. Third place went to Logan Pratt in car T4, and in fourth as Connor Pratt in the Superman car.

In the rubber feature Jacob Borden in the 8-ball car took first, followed by Chad Bailes of Breezy Point in car #33 and in third place was car T4 and driver Logan Pratt.
