It was a spectacular day at the 28th annual Camp Knutson Quilt Auction on Saturday August 9th. A crowd of over 500 in attendance helped to raise over $58,000 through both silent and live auctions.
The quilt sales and a special fund-a-need request will provide funds for a new outboard motor for camp's rescue boat.
Rob Larson, Camp Knutson director, expressed his heartfelt thanks to everyone that attended, those that made the quilts and all the volunteers that make this event possible.
The quilt pictured above left, titled "Nine Patch Hourglass" was created and donated by Ann Pollard of Andover, MN, and machine quilted by Judy Neimi, fetched a high a bid of $1300.
