Camp Knutson Hosts 2nd Annual Sundae Funday Open House

Web posted June 11, 2019
On Sunday, May 26, Camp Knutson celebrated another summer beginning with an open house! Camp Knutson provides a camping experience to children and young adults with identified needs including heart disease, skin conditions, autism, Down syndrome, HIV/Aids, mental health needs, youth experiencing homelessness, and burn survivors.

Over 275 people enjoyed a beautiful sunny afternoon of tours, walking tacos, ice cream sundaes, pudgy pies, minnow races, face painting and many other games and activities.

A big thank you to the community, the Camp Knutson staff and counselors, and all the camp volunteers who participated in this event. A special thank you to Jitters, Grand Champion Meats, Sysco foods, and Moonlite Square for your donations to support the event.
