CCS Students Harvest Pumpkin Patch
Web posted October 15, 2013
Steve and Deb Dahlke of Fifty Lakes graciously opened up their farm to the Crosslake Community School students this fall and provided a fun-filled pumpkin adventure.
The students first worked in the field harvesting the pumpkins they planted last spring. Those pumpkins were then loaded onto the bus to be transported back to the school.
After the work was done, the students worked their way through a hay bale maze (complete with a "beast”) and ended their time with cookies and pumpkin juice.
Back at school the 7/8 class unloaded the bus and helped set up the pumpkin stand where the community can stop by and shop for pumpkins and other fall items.
