Bundle up for Crosslake’s 11th annual WinterFest

Web posted January 21, 2014
CROSSLAKE — The 11th annual WinterFest in Crosslake will be Jan. 30 through Feb. 1. A wide variety of activities are planned, including SoupFest and the sale of $5 wristbands which make the owner eligible for discounts from Crosslake-area merchants.

On Thursday, Jan. 30, the search for the lost medallion begins. Watch for three clues, one posted each day at participating businesses, the Crosslake Chamber Welcome Center and at www.crosslake.com. Find the medallion – hidden someplace in Crosslake – for a prize package worth hundreds!

On Friday, Jan. 31, there will be a beer and wine tasting at Barstock Liquor; a carnival for kids at Crosslake Community School; a wine tasting at Andy’s Bar & Grill and Wine & Spirits; a number of all-ages activities at the Crosslake Community Center; and evening entertainment at Pine Peaks Event Center, The Wharf, Manhattan Beach Lodge and Moonlite Bay Family Restaurant & Bar.

Saturday, Feb. 1, highlights include a pancake breakfast, helicopter rides, SoupFest and radar runs.
