| CRMC Hospice patient fundraiser a successWeb posted January 12, 2021 A record $5,025 was raised for area Hospice patients through Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s 36th annual Tree of Love fund-raising event held December 8. The donations from the first-ever virtual event honored 351 loved ones. The amount compares to$3,430 donated in honor of 260 people last year. Lights continued to shine on the Tree of Love outside CRMC’s main entrance throughout the holidays. Donations to the Tree of Love Benefit Hospice, a service of compassionate care for people who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. Hospice involves a team approach to expert medical care, pain management, emotional and spiritual support. A vital part of hospice are is providing support to the family and loved ones of patients.
