| Methamphetamine Investigation Results in Two ArrestsSheriff Todd Dahl announced on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 that LADID had recently completed an 8 month investigation into the trafficking of methamphetamine in Crow Wing County. LADID was assisted by DEA and the MN BCA in the investigation. As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Garrison, MN where approximately 5 ounces of methamphetamine was recovered along with approximately $2000 cash. The street value of the methamphetamine is estimated at $12,000. A 29 year old Garrison woman, Sara Jo Bloomquist, was arrested and charged in Federal court for trafficking methamphetamine along with a 28 year old male, Jason Timothy Bowes, who was arrested on state charges.
