Three individuals arrested for the possession and sale of methamphetamine

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office, in a joint operation with the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department, Headwaters Safe Trails Task Force, Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force and Lakes Area Drug Investigative Division, conducted a joint investigation into the trafficking of narcotics in the northern portion of Cass County.
As a result of that investigation, a search warrant was issued and executed resulting in an arrest and the confiscation of a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and over $8,000 in cash.
Arrested were Gary Eugene Keezer, age 41, Randolph Lee Headbird, age 22 and Chavez Antonio Wind, age 23. Keezer and Headbird were arraigned in Cass County Court on Friday January 17 and formal charges are pending on Wind. The investigation continues. Sheriff Burch credits the operations success to the cooperation of several area Law Enforcement agencies.
