Redding’s Host 11th Annual Kid’s Ice Fishing Contest

Over 60 kids participated in the 11th annual Kid’s Ice Fishing Contest on Saturday, March 9 in Emily. The event was sponsored by Redding’s Sports and Spirits of Emily.
Pat Redding said there were well over 100 total fish caught and everyone had a great time on the lake.
The first fish was caught by Tabby Foster, who took home a trophy and $90 in winnings. The biggest Crappie winner was Hank Raph at 8.45 ounces; the biggest Sunfish caught winner was Landen Mitchell at 8.8 ounces; and the winner of the biggest Perch was Dawson Rickard at .9 ounces.
