| Snowmobilers Get Involved Riding Trails and Club MembershipDo you love riding snowmobiles? Have you considered joining a club? Well, the Emily Outing Snowbirds are always out looking for new members. We maintain around 90 plus miles of the best trails in Crow Wing and Cass County. What benefits does joining a snowmobile club have for you? Well, to begin with, you become a member of an organization that works together to help design and maintain trails in this area. Good riding trails are very important to snowmobilers and they greatly benefit our local economy. Your dues go to help fund the clubs functions and maintain all of our equipment. Great riding trails so not come automatically. Trails need lots of work and this is done by volunteers, our club members. These volunteers are truly the back bone of our trail system. Without members from a club, good riding trails would only be a dream. It takes many members to brush, groom and maintain our trail systems. If you truly love snowmobiling, Get on board and do your part. Get involved, join a club and get active. Also, when you become a member of a club, part of you dues automatically go towards joining an organization called Minnesota USA. What does MN USA do for Snowmobiling? They work at the State level to lobby for us for grant and aid monies. Grant and aid monies are the main source of club funding from the State that help clubs keep their equipment running. MN USA also sends out a monthly magazine to keep snowmobilers up to date with what is going on around the state. For more information on joining the Emily Outing Snowbirds, visit our website @ www.snowbirdsmn.org. Or call George at 218-763-2502.
