| Lady Eagles Blast BlackduckFour Lady Eagles hit for double figures as Northland routed the Blackduck Drakes to open their 2009-10 season. Camille Manders scored 21 and grabbed 18 boards and Kayla tallied 18 points and had six steals for the Eagles. “I always hate the first few games of the season, wondering if we’re prepared or not but this was a nice start to our season,” said Northland coach Jenny Kovall. The game marked the return of Northland guard Sierra Likens, who tore her ACL early last season. Likens had 12 points and three assists.
