What a fabulous way to say WE SERVE!! Each club (42 of the 65 clubs in the District were represented) took back to their communities 80+ boxes of meals (Spanish rice, oatmeal, mac 'n cheese and a pasta dish). Everything was planned perfectly, down to the music!! Boxes were left with Andrea Gressman, the director of the Emily Food Shelf. Gressman gave volunteers a quick tour - very impressive! The Lakers Lions are hopeful that their club can become more involved with their efforts. 80+ neighbors in the community are getting support from them. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
