|  Northland Youth in Action clean up gravel pit in Outing - photo submitted | Youth In Action Clean-Up Outing Gravel PitThe Northland Community Schools Youth in Action group cleaned up an old gravel pit east of Outing along County Rd 58 on Thursday, Oct. 15. The Outing Chamber provided them with a hot dog lunch, and necessary equipment for their efforts. The group plans more community clean-up projects in the future and would appreciate if people using the gravel pit area would leave no trace after using the site. The kids that participated were Chase Meulners, Heather Wayrynen, Ryan Beckman, Megan Stefan, Stevie Kvasnicka, Jordan Archer, Jake Spartz, Alex Burch, Amber Nornberg, Jason Perkins, T.J., Ally and Heather Mitlyng, Ken and Fran Olds helped and cooked lunch for the kids.
