|  Lake Washburn Association Floating Ice Cream SocialWeb posted September 12, 2023 By Vicki Lipstreuer A record setting 75 boats, 3 kayaks and 2 jet skis lined up for the annual Lake Washburn Association Floating Ice Cream Social. This year’s crew consisted of Captain Dave Patterson, Chief Dairy Officer Sam Patterson, and Deckhands Susan Tyra, Glen Goodwin and Vicki Lipstreuer. In addition to some much needed frozen treats, each boat received a bag filled with literature on identifying AIS, safe boating practices, and shoreline management guidelines. Each child was given a gift bag with a frisbee, whistle, bandana and stickers from the Army Corps of Engineers. And every canine in attendance went home with milkbone dog treats.
