| Patriots Crush Wolves by 52The Pequot Lakes Patriots rebounded from their Dec. 18 loss to Detroit Lakes with an 82- 30 point rout over host Walker-Hackensack-Akeley last Tuesday night in Walker. 12 players scored and Pequot Lakes held Walker to just 11 points in the first half as coach Garry Grewe was able to get his bench valuable minutes against the Wolves. Matthew Michaelson led the team with 13 points, hitting three of four from beyond the arc. He was followed by Kurtis Moody with 12 points and five rebounds. Michael Ward scored seven points and grabbed a team high seven rebounds, while Jordan Anderson and Adison Runberg had nine points apiece. Austin Dennis led the Wolves with 7 points. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Patriots play in the Pine Country Bank Holiday Classic in Little Falls. On Tuesday at 6 pm, the Patriots will meet the Badger/Greenbush/Middle River Gators, followed by a game between Robbinsdale Cooper and Little Falls at 8 pm. On Wednesday, if the Patriots lose game one, they would play at 2:30 pm, if they win they would play for the title at 7 pm.
