Mary Mack – a one of a kind performance that is sure to make you laugh
Web posted January 7, 2014
The Greater Lakes Area Performing Arts (GLAPA) season features comedy performer Mary Mack on Saturday, January 18, 2014 for a 7:30 pm show on the Pequot Lakes High School Theater stage. Mary Mack is a folk humorist who spends half of her time convincing her Minnesotan mother it is okay for her daughter to be a comedian and the other half touring the country in her sweet, 400 dollar Dodge Neon – affectionately referred to as “Sweet Heat”.
Mack and her mandolin singalongs have been featured on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show, XM’s National Lampoon’s Comedy Network and Minnesota’s Polka Spotlight, including appearances on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham and NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Mary Mack’s endearing, slightly quirky stage presence and musical surprises make her popular with a wide range of people. With her mandolin in hand and off kilter stories of life as a former polka band leader, music teacher, and all around confused individual, Mary delivers a one of a kind performance that is sure to make you laugh.
Plan now to have a fun night of entertainment with Mary Mack. Call the Pequot Lakes Community Education office at 218 – 568-9200 to reserve tickets for the performance. Ticket will be sold at the door, too. Ticket sales begin one hour before the performance. Seating is first come first seated.
When Mary Mack talks people listen and laugh.
