Revolution Dance Team Ends Season

The Pequot Lakes Revolution Dance Team saw their season come to an end on Saturday, January 30, at the Section 4AA Tournament. The team placed seventh in the High Kick category and ninth in the Jazz category. This is the first time in ten years that the Revolution has not advanced to the state tournament.

“We were happy with our kick performance,” said Coach Amber Peterson. “We felt it was our strongest yet and had lots of energy. This dance was very entertaining to watch. We had some execution mistakes in jazz and formations slips, but I thought the girls did a great job.

“We have come a long way with both routines since the beginning of the season, and are very proud of what  the girls accomplished these past few weeks in preparing for sections,” Peterson continued. “This was our first season competing in AA and we knew it was going to be a very strong competition.”

St. Cloud Cathedral and Sartell finished 1-2 in both Kick and Jazz. St. Cloud Apollo took third in Kick, and Detroit Lakes took third in Jazz.
